ABOUT ME
Violin and Viola Teacher
Emily Hammans is an extensively trained, award-winning violinist with over 10 years of Suzuki and traditional instruction and performance. She is a gifted teacher with a passion for motivating and inspiring students and a talent for working with children of all ages. Her teaching experience includes a mentorship with More Than Music from 2013-2015, where she instructed underprivileged students at Girls’ Inc. in violin and viola. She student-taught in Anne Nagosky’s studio from 2013-2016, and has given private lessons since 2014.
Emily has completed her Every Child Can and Suzuki book 1 training, and is currently completing her Batchelor of Arts in Music Performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
